J finally got his cast off! It has been seven long weeks! His arm is still actually bent a little bit but the orthopedist said that where he is so little his body will make adjustments. It will make bone on one side and dissolve bone on the other--so that in six months it will be straighter. He is very glad to have it off. It is also a good thing it is off, about two weeks ago he figured out the cast made a pretty good weapon. He was threatened with bubblewrap!
